    The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a secure and functional website.
  • Handling contact inquiries
    If you contact us by email, we process your data to handle your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the communication relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Hosting and Server Logs

When this website is accessed, the server processes technically necessary data, in particular:

  • browser type and operating system

The processing is carried out to provide the website, defend against attacks, analyze errors, and ensure the stability of the service. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Contact by Email

If you send us an email, we process the information you provide, in particular your email address, your name, and the content of your message. The processing is carried out solely for handling your inquiry and, where applicable, for further business communication.

This website links to external services, in particular LinkedIn and GitHub. A connection to the respective platform is only established once you click such a link. From that point onward, the privacy information of the respective provider applies.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

At the current state, this website does not use cookies or similar technologies for analytics, marketing, or tracking purposes.

If strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies are used as part of technical operations (for example by hosting, security, or reverse-proxy infrastructure), this is based on Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). Any subsequent processing of personal data is then based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and functional operation).

For non-essential cookies or similar technologies (especially tracking/marketing), prior consent would be obtained under Section 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Such technologies are currently not in use.

7. Recipients of Personal Data

Personal data is disclosed to third parties only where necessary for operating the website or handling your inquiry. Recipients may in particular include hosting providers, IT service providers, and email service providers.

8. Retention Periods

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations.
